When Small is Big
Look around today. You would be able to notice that the domain of communication has been taken over by words or should I say acronyms which are really small. They maybe small but they are significant in the world of fast paced communication and definitive expressions.
Take examples such as ‘LOL’, now its only three lettered but conveys a whole idea; ie: Laughing out loud. Then you have ‘BTW’ which is ‘Be right back’. These were only two examples from a whole bucketful of various ‘expressive’ acronyms. Though these small but significant little things have affected our world so much, not many actually would want to research and think about it’s origins.
Probably, this ‘acronym form of communication’ would have originated within various defense circles and would have been used as a form of communication within multiple intelligence agencys’. Also it can be pointed out that acronyms have been used in software creation and designing.
Whatever be the source, these ‘little things’ serve a purpose of quick and efficient mode of communication and it’s time saving.
One Chance
Yesterday I was walking down a lane. Bliss. No tensions no nothing. Suddenly it just struck me- whats the point in everything? I asked myself, is there a reason for my or anybody’s existence on this planet to lead this life?? At one point of time nobody would care to get an answer right??? This question leaves you in mental state of abstract-ness and randomness. Its something tough to answer.
Though it may seem that one day a reason maybe discovered someday. Then another question hits you- whats the point in knowing this reason??
Could it be that generally life is spent looking for answers of various questions? Is life a big question mark? I am there now, am I there tomorrow?
Questions…..more questions….even more questions. Must we put these doubts to rest?
I would think that the purpose of life is to propose answers to questions and then put them to rest. One would love answers to posed questions.
This would raise the fact that staying lone rarely brings out any answers and that states the importance of having good company.
Whatever it maybe, what has to happen will happen. What has to be answered, will in time be answered. You get only a single chance at life. Live it enjoy it.
The Last Benchers
I used to sit in the last bench, so I was called a ‘last bencher’ by teachers and schoolmates alike. At first it was like no big deal sitting in the last bench as it was like sitting anywhere else. A few weeks later, when I got my place changed I realized the magic of sitting in the last bench. Apart from getting away from the teacher with jokes, the ‘last benchers” ought to consider themselves lucky. Though they may not realize it now…Suppose you were sitting in the last bench, bored with the teacher and the class, you tend to talk with you’r bench mate. Talk talk talk. Now this is the magic of talking; you get to discover t lot of about the person sitting next to you. Talking is like a window into other person’s mind.
This is not the end…..you get the opportunity to to try out things which you may not be able to on a front bench such as throwing paper planes(fun
) and much more…
I guess ‘last benchers’ can be called ‘philosophers’ in a way as when they have nothing to do in class and nobody to talk to, they think think think and hit upon an idea or thought for anything which a person sitting in the front bench can’t do.
So you see, consider yourself ‘lucky’ to have ever been a ‘last bencher’ .
!The Guide To Crazy
Till now, I have come across may people who at some point of time were totally crazy(and are expected to be so again!).
Now the depth, detail and level varied from person to person.
The question was…why go crazy at all??
Now all of you would associate crazy with going mad and screaming blah blah blah. The truth is: that is not the end of crazy nor does it actually define ‘crazy’ in an complete manner. Now crazy can mean anything from…now wait…do I really have to define it??? Because I am sure that you all had your own moments of ‘crazy’
Rather I would define the intention to go crazy from various points of views.
1) You can’t have things the way you want it.
2) You lose something, can’t find it and………
3) Events unfolding are so funny that you find it crazy!
4) Events unfolding are so -ve that you still find it crazy!
5) A person who raves and screams and fights.
6) Finding this note crazy.
…………..and many more instances
Can actions be defined as crazy???
Yes.
Can results of those actions be defined as crazy??
Yes.
Can you, the reasons for those actions be defined crazy??
Yes
Now this is the catch:
Going against a rule is crazy even though that rule is crazy!
Now what you do??
Go crazy???

One hero less, the demise of Dev Anand
Yes, we all know that Dev Anand was an actor, director, producer, writer and what not. But, above all he was a hero. A legend.
My belief is that legends are not made but born. He was one person from India to make it big without vanity. He was a dignified person. Despite the fact he was from a bygone era of bollywood and movies, he still tried to maintain a hold on this era.
And he did so very well. I was looking forward the he lived longer to produce the sequel to ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ which never happened.
Movies like ‘Guide’ and ‘Hum Dono’ were simply awesome. It was what could be defined as a cracker of a movie.
Well his death has left vacuum in the film industry which maybe later(or never can be) filled.
R.I.P
Dev Anand, a romantic, a hero, a legend never to be forgotten.
